About Us
I've always believed that clothing has the ability to carry stories. Not just the stories of the women who wear it, but also of the hands that weave, dye, print and embroider every fabric long before it becomes a garment.
Kritika Murarka was born from a desire to bring these stories into a modern wardrobe. We work with Indian handwoven textiles, traditional craft techniques and thoughtful surface details, interpreting them through silhouettes that feel effortless, contemporary and relevant today.
Every collection begins with curiosity, a culture, a forgotten craft, a landscape or a piece of history. We reinterpret these inspirations into garments designed to be worn, loved and lived in. Pieces that feel special without feeling precious.
Being a slow fashion label means we choose quality over quantity. We produce mindfully, work closely with skilled artisans, support fair working conditions, offer custom sizing, and consciously minimise waste by giving new life to leftover textiles wherever possible.
Above everything else, we hope that when you wear a Kritika Murarka piece, you don't feel like you're wearing someone else's idea of style.
You simply feel more like yourself.
